  1. Incident levels

It would be nice to have different levels for incidents. Example: service impacted vs service down. Maybe one for just service notices also. This would help to make the uptime reports more accurate.

  2. Ability to select fields from maintenance event that go in slack message

When we get an email the subject is filled in from a maintenance template, and includes the application that is being released. For example, ‘Deploy Application_Whiskey HotFix 2 to Production @ 16:30 2016/08/04’ provides all the information I need. However, the Slack messages for this maintenance event only gives the ‘update’ field, which in this case is ‘starting now’. As you can see if someone was only looking at Statusdashboad messages in Slack they would not get much context with just the ‘Update’ field. We could modify our process to have people put more details in the ‘Update’ field, however,…

  3. Future and Planned Maintenance

It would be great to enter in future Maintenance and for another section under Active Maintenance to show "Planned Future Maintenance". So when customers go to the Status page they can see obviously what is happening now in terms of Active Incidents and Active Maintenance but any future maintenance as well.

  4. Add the ability to specify colors for incident statuses (Investigating, Identified, Monitoring, Resolved)

This would help with communication and could tie into the dashboard URL and email templates. For example, you may want to show investigating as red but once you identified orange (or keep it red), monitoring as yellow and then green once resolved.

  5. When configured to subscribe to individual services, provide a select all

When configured to subscribe to individual services, instead of the entire dashboard, provide an option to "select all" services instead of having the user select each individual service

  6. Create maintenance templates

There are some maintenance events that happen regularly, but may not be exactly during the same. The description of this maintenance is always the same, except the time. There should be the ability to create maintenance templates so that we can re-use the terminology/verbiage every time for consistency.

  7. Sub-services

Much in line with the request to be able to have more defined levels of incidents, having the ability to have sub-services would allow the dashboard to show that a sub-component of the major service is affected. Perhaps a expand/collapse ability and then allow the uptime report to be reflective of each.

  8. Is there a way to automatically receive invoices by email each month ?

There should be an option to automatically receive invoices by email each month. (ideally to several users, including users without administrative rights, like a purchase department).

  9. allow greater customization of the notifications

allow to change the order of each of the sections and also allow to customize the sort order of the status updates. I would need to have the status updates show first on the notification and the newest update at the top

  10. Create a webhooks notification method

Can you create a notification method where customers can subscribe to receive webhooks. It would be great to have JSON formatted event detail sent to an endpoint that gets updated as soon as an admin creates or updates an event.

  11. Additional permissions

    More granular permissions.

This would offer the additional functionality that programmers for example could add in maintenance windows for application updates.

The same would be very useful for a Helpdesk manger etc.

At the moment any one with access has got a significant amount of access to change quite a bit accidentally.

  12. Show days with no issues as little green ticks

Instead of showing the days with no incidents/events as blank, instead display a little green tick.

    Here are some examples:

    http://status.aws.amazon.com/ (see history)
    http://www.cloudflare.com/system-status

  13. Publish to Twitter

When posting a new issue or update, have the option to publish to Twitter. This would post a short message and link to the incident into a pre-configured twitter account.

  14. Subscribe to specific alerts

To minimise broadcast emails, if users could subscribe to specific groups of services or even specific services that they are paeticuarly interested in.

  15. add the ability to have separate email templates for event types

Right now, there is one email template for both incident and maintenance events. To help incident emails pop out and show urgency, I have one of the template colors bright red. This is great for incidents, however the same template is used for maintenance and red is not desirable so I have to manually change the color prior to sending (or often forget causing mixed messages). Color is just one example as to why you would want a template per event, there are others.

  16. Provide a Customer / Developer API

Your administrator interface is useful for creating incidents or scheduled maintenance activities but we require the ability to programmatically perform these actions.

For example, we'd like to have our monitoring system (Nagios) have the ability to automatically create incidents in our dashboard when systems are detected as having problems.

  17. Add HipChat integration

It would be great if we could post notifications about events to HipChat rooms.

  18. Twitter aggregation tuning

Allow each incident to be individually titled when aggregating Status Dashboard incidents via Twitter widget. The current implementation is too generic, esp. when multiple incidents are displayed.

  19. Checkbox system for easy selection of service events subscription

None of my users will need to susbcribe to all of my service, but most of them will need to subscribe to more than one.

The current process is not practical for this scenario.

A way for users to easily subscribe to multiple (but not all) services at once would be much appreciated.

  20. In the calendar view, have a configuration setting to limit the number of days a user can see.

Say you want to only show the incidents for just the past month in the calendar view. Would be nice to have a configuration in admin that says show X days of history. Then if someone views the dashboard they only can scroll back for the X days in the widget. It doesn't necessarily have to effect the search feature for incidents. You could also have another feature that limits that or just allow the search to work for all items.
